Description
This 1968 Dodge Charger is powered by a 318ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a 2.76:1 rear differential. The car is finished in red with a black vinyl roof and features hideaway headlamps, round side-marker lights, dual mirrors, and re-chromed bumper guards.
Body-color 15" steel wheels wear redline hubcaps and FR70 Firestone Super Sports-branded tires. The car is equipped with power steering, 11" front and 10" rear drum brakes, and a larger-diameter sway bar.
The interior features low-back front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl. The seats were fitted with replacement foam and upholstery, and the carpets, door panels, and armrests were replaced. A floor-mounted gear selector sits in the center console. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and alternator charge.
The 318ci V8 was overhauled and fitted with a mild camshaft and electronic ignition. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a 2.76:1 open differential. The engine features a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and was repainted in 2024.
