Description
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was refurbished under previous ownership between 2020 and 2022, and it is powered by a replacement 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car is refinished in red over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a white convertible soft top, 15" turbine-style wheels with three-eared knock-off spinners, a Positraction differential, a Bluetooth-capable radio, and concealed headlights. The fiberglass body was originally finished in Daytona Blue metallic and was refinished in red. Exterior features include a replacement white convertible soft top as well as flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance. The 15" turbine-style wheels wear three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown redline tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums. The cabin was reupholstered in black, and amenities include a heater, a Bluetooth-capable Antique Automobile Radio, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts. The three-spoke steering wheel frames Classic Instruments gauges. The five-digit odometer shows less than a mile, and total mileage is unknown. The 327ci V8 was installed in previous ownership and is said to have been rebuilt during the aforementioned refurbishment.
